On the 10th of April, a new Workshop on Wine was celebrated in Madrid. A tasting with some of the most preferred Spanish wines and foods matched with original “Tapas “. The Hotel HUSA, located in the “Paseo del Arte“in Madrid, was the location of this new edition workshop at the hands of experts in the world of wine and gastronomy.
On this occasion, four wines were tasted, a Rosé wine, two Red wines, and a sweet wine elaborated by FAMILIA MARTINEZ BUJANDA, Finca Antigua Moscatel. This sweet wine was served together with a teaspoon of Foie Gras, on top of a compote of Puturru’s Apple Foie.
These workshops focus on a non professional audience; wines lovers, but not necessarily expert. The only necessity is to have a palate, to be open mind and ready to discover the best ways of enjoying a wine in every sense. The price of the being involved was only 15 €.
This is an original initiative promoted by “EntreVinos” and based on this same successful format being celebrated for more than six years in Pamplona. Aside from the event in Madrid and Pamplona this activity is also taking place in Barcelona. The intention is to repeat itself every month, to grow each event and to attract more of an audience each time.
They will be directed by Jose Antonio Cruz, member of the Spanish Union of Tasters, President for the Spanish Association of Enoturismo and Gastronomic Tourism and Director of the Agency “EntreVinos”.
