You probably already know that wine is not only found in glasses…, it is constantly becoming more and more present in the millennial culture, where there are is an increasing number of movies and TV shows whose main characters notoriously drink wine. In the USA and Germany, wine is starting to reach to a younger audience, where some celebrities opt for drinking a good wine over any other beverage.
At Finca Valpiedra, we had the chance of living the Spanish Radio and Television Show ‘Gran Reserva’ in person. We were lucky enough to host them during their exterior shootings, which made us extremely proud. We also learned lots with them, and managed to bring people closer to the marvellous world of wines.
Nowadays, with on-demand television, we can delve even deeper into TV shows, movies and documentaries which, like ‘Gran Reserva’, ennoble wine to its appropriate standard. These are sometimes produced abroad, including other points of view and exploring the secrets of the processes involved in the elaboration of wine, or of the native land and its different crafts,… It is outstanding material which helps us stay connected with wine, even during these times where we have to stay at home.
